The emphasis for admission is put on letters of recommendation, the personal statement (specified area of research interest), previous degree curriculum, GPA, and GRE scores. GPAs of our admitted applicants are generally above 3.0/4.0. GRE scores are very high but are not used as a single indicator. A TOEFL score of more than 550 is required for international students. International students are required to submit a financial statement.
