GRE general exam scores (verbal, quantitative, and analytical writing sections all required) if applying for the M.S. or Ph.D. degrees. GRE scores are not required for admission to the M.E. program.
For non-native English speakers only, provide certification of adequate spoken and written English. A TOEFL score greater than 600 (paper-based), 250 (computer-based) or 100 (internet-based) is desired.
At any given time, about one-third of currently enrolled graduate students are funded by either a teaching or research assistantship. As with TA's, no additional application is required.

Mechanical Engineering

If applying for PhD, GRE scores are required. Preferred but not required GRE scores are 500 Verbal, 760 Quantitative and 4.5 writing, and the desired undergraduate GPA is 3.2.
If applying for MS, GRE scores are required. Preferred but not required GRE scores are 500 Verbal, 750 Quantitative and 4.5 writing, and the desired undergraduate GPA is 3.0.
If International, TOEFL scores are required.
The minimum TOEFL scores required are as follows:
---MS Applicants: 550 PBT, 213 CBT, 79 IBT. (6.5 for IELTS)
---PhD Applicants: 600 PBT, 250 CBT, 100 IBT (7.5 for IELTS)
