Connecticut - Nutmeg State

Connecticut is a small state located on the northeast coast of the United States. With its bulk of the population being concentrated in the Western and Southern part under the New York Metropolitan Region, it is one of the most populous states bearing Hartford as its capital. In the north-eastern part, it has majestic mountainous terrain; it also enjoys the calm features of the beaches and Connecticut River valley. However, it's a sunny state with a maritime climatic effect and one can also have the flavors of winter snows, spring breezes, and rain.

Bridgeport

It is the largest city in Connecticut, located in the southwestern part. Established in 1693, the city was earlier known as Newfield, before acquiring its current name in 1800.

New Haven

It is a coastal city, located on the shore of Long Island Sound. New Haven is the second-largest city in Connecticut and is considered a part of the New York metropolitan area. The city is famous for being home to Yale University, one of the most prestigious Ivy League institutions.

Hartford

Being the third largest and one of the oldest, the city of Hartford is named in honor of the Hertford city in England. The city is famous for its remarkable tourist landmarks.

Stamford

Stanford is one of the oldest cities and is known for being a commercial hub. The city is a host to at least four fortune 500 companies.
